About the Project
The Oronsay Family History Project aims to collection and preserve the material culture of the author’s paternal family, publish the associated family tree, and provide insights and stories based on this material in the form of a blog.
The collection is accessed using the eHive collection management system and the family tree was originally compiled using ancestry.com. Also included is a technical blog detailing the museological and historical background to the site’s functions including how-to guides and advice for small museums and family historians.
Oronsay’s sister blog, for the author’s maternal family, is Quandong.
